David Joyner

David Joyner was appointed CEO effective April 1, 2015 after joining PriMed as COO on April 15, 2013. Prior to joining Hill Physicians, David served for fourteen years as an executive of Blue Shield of California, a not-for-profit health plan with more than 3 million members. He has also served as president of Vivra Women's Health and as a consultant for Bain & Company, a global strategy consulting firm. David currently serves on the governing board of APG, participates on the Canopy Health board of directors, and also serves on the executive committee and board of directors of IHA. David grew up in England and received his MA in chemistry from the University of Oxford and his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
