Ruth Haskins, M.D.

Ruth Haskins, MD, is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She joined the Hill Board in 2023. Dr. Haskins completed both her undergraduate and her medical training at the University of Pittsburgh and did her internship and residency at the David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis, AFB. Until 1993, she served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force, attained the rank of Major, and earned a Meritorious Service Award for her work as Chairman of the Department of Ob/Gyn in O'Fallon, Illinois. She practiced in Carmichael for 7 years before joining the U.C. Davis Medical Group. Since 2008 she has enjoyed her solo Ob/Gyn practice in Folsom, CA. For over 30 years Dr. Haskins has passionately advocated for women's health issues in the political arena and is actively involved in mentoring and teaching students to confidently move toward their goal of a career in women's health.
